Google
Earth is a software that can displaying world map in realistic image,
using satellite picture photos that arranged into full virtual globe
map.You can searching any location you want to know, only by typing the location name and you will be directing to that place on the map. You can see any places in the world that you dreaming to go, see the beautiful buildings and sceneries, and you can see it in 3D just like you are really in that location.
You can save the screenshot image of that places and share its coordinate location to your friends by sending the .kmz extension files, so your friends can open it on their computer.
Satellite Images
Google Earth using real satellite photos that came from NASA, TerraMetrics, Europa Technology,
Digital Globe, and other sources
such as airplane and balloon photographs,
so you can see the map in real condition, you can see buildings,
streets, trees, cars, and in several location you can see people
walking with its shadow.
But the map is not real time picture, that mean the map is not in
same time in the day when you see it. The map is updated
periodically, but not in the short time table, so maybe you will see
the building or structure that had been built a month ago in your
town is not available in the Google Earth map.
Not all of location in the world have high resolution in Google
Earth, in some location as in remote area or in unpopular country
doesn't have sharp and detail image, you will see the map in high
altitude that can not be zoom-in more.
Three
Dimensional Buildings & Landscapes
You can see buildings and landscapes in three dimension structures
and terrains in several locations,
especially cities in USA, but you can make your own 3D building for
your city using Sketch-Up, special software from Google, you can
download here:

Tours
With Google Earth you can do virtual tours, visiting places with
specific theme, for example the Da Vinci Tour that invite you to
visiting all locations that mentioned in "Da Vinci Code" novel by Dan

Exploring
With this new Google
Earth feature, you can see all outer space objects that can be seen by
Hubble Space Telescope, you can see stars formation that mentioned in
zodiac, and you can see planets in our solar system, also nebulas,
supernovas, even black holes in the far far away of the universe.
The Available Versions of
Google Earth Software
You can choose one of three version of Google Earth software, the
free version, advance version and enterprise version.
- Google Earth - Free Version
This in the free version for everybody that want to try the experience with Google Earth, you can fly anywhere on Earth to view satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings and even explore galaxies in the Sky. You can explore rich geographical content, save your toured places and share with others. This version has all standard feature of Google Earth software, suitable for personal user and powerful enough to help your school studies and small projects for your company.
- Google Earth - Advanced
Available in two versions, you can choose the prices that suitable for you:
- Google Earth Plus (price: $20)
For you that need the faster performance, the ability to import spreadsheets, and higher resolution printing, this version has capability to support GPS devices.- Google Earth Pro (price: $400)
For you that need more than the Plus version, ideal for an organization, this version has feature to access the ultimate research, presentation, and collaboration tool for location-specific information.

Computer specifications
To using Google Earth software you need computer that comply with the
minimum specification recommendation, this minimum configuration still can
running the Google earth software but you may having slow loading and
rendering images, if you want better performance you might have to
upgrading your computer with recommended configurations that specified
here.
